The art nouveau café Meletti is also well known, with the remains of Roman masonry visible in its toilet facilities. It takes around 20 minutes to drive from the campsite to the coastal town of San Benedetto del Tronto. Here, the Museo del Mare (Museum of the Sea) attracts visitors with exciting exhibitions on the history of the Adriatic. Most of the exhibits are housed in a historic fish market. It is also worth taking a stroll along the harbour, where modern sculptures such as the Molo Sud can be seen alongside magnificent yachts.
