Located on the lively southern shore of Lake Garda, San Francesco Camping Village is very popular with guests thanks to its numerous amenities: the best lakeside location near Desenzano del Garda, a large bathing area and a comprehensive range of sports and activities are the advantages of this child- and dog-friendly holiday resort.
At San Francesco Camping Village on the eastern edge of the idyllic town of Desenzano del Garda, guests can enjoy a successful individual holiday and combine it with numerous leisure activities. The holiday village blends harmoniously into the typical local vegetation and borders directly on the southern shore of Lake Garda. For this reason, the campsite has its own stretch of beach as well as a jetty and water sports activities. Some of the more than 300 pitches for tents, camper vans and caravans boast a direct view of the lake and an area of almost 100 square metres. These offer plenty of privacy for family camping. The standard pitches score points with up to 60 square metres. Permanent campers, on the other hand, like to opt for the fully equipped pitches. Like all pitches, these have an electricity connection and an additional water supply and drain. The campsite's modern sanitary facilities leave nothing to be desired. The 143 mobile homes and bungalows at the family-friendly holiday resort in Italy are also impressively equipped. Depending on the type, up to six guests can spend the nights here and enjoy a bright and modern feel-good design. The kitchen is fully equipped and holidaymakers can find fresh baked goods, fruit and vegetables, cold cuts and many other foods and drinks in the supermarket at San Francesco Camping Village. Many guests also make use of the two restaurants, the Vela D'Oro and the Osteria alla Torre, and enjoy an à la carte meal. The Vela D'Oro has something for every taste, while the Osteria caters to the gourmets of every travelling party. There's also no reason not to enjoy a pizza evening in the camper, as there is also a snack bar with a take-away service on site.
A fun atmosphere, sporting ambition and a relaxed atmosphere: San Francesco Camping Village has the right ambience for everyone. The large outdoor pool area extends over 1,400 square metres and is designed for all ages. Children can have fun running around in the playground and sports enthusiasts are sure to find someone to play a game of volleyball with. Desenzano del Garda is ideal for excursions with your camping neighbours or new friends from the night before. The old town with its small but truly picturesque harbour and alleyways with small shops make the most populous town on Lake Garda a popular excursion destination for campers. Alternatively, Sirmione in the neighbourhood is a worthwhile address. If you're prepared for a slightly longer journey of two hours, you could also head for Caorle and Venice.
