Just a stone's throw from the head of the Geiranger Fjord and in the neighbourhood of a picturesque waterfall lies Vinje Camping in the western Norwegian municipality of Stranda. It is around 1.5 kilometres from the campsite to the fjord and the village of Geiranger, which is located directly on the shore. There is a bus stop directly in front of the campsite. Vast forests and impressive mountain ranges form the backdrop to the Vinje campsite. The terraced pitches on the family-run site extend over a partly sloping meadow area and are framed by a few shady trees and bushes.
