Flat meadow terrain with bushes and semi-tall deciduous trees. Located between the public swimming pool and the marina, along the Ems cycling path. Dominated by permanent campers, pitches for tourists are along the edge of the site.

Conveniently located, Camping Weener is situated directly on the picturesque banks of the River Ems with easy access to many excursion destinations, for example the Wadden Sea or Groningen. The relaxed atmosphere and good facilities on the site promise a relaxing camping holiday in East Frisia.
Idyllic campsite directly on the River Ems
The campsite has 50 partly parcelled holiday pitches on a total area of 3 hectares. On 85-120 square metres each, guests can enjoy plenty of privacy, which is further enhanced by the hedges and trees on the meadows. The campsite is also equipped with washing facilities, electricity connections and sanitary buildings. The leisure facilities are also very popular with young and old alike. In addition to a children's playground and table tennis tables, there are also tennis courts and a mini-golf course for variety. During the warmer months, the heated outdoor pool with a 50 metre long water slide is one of the campsite's highlights. With boat moorings and the opportunity to fish, the nearby banks of the River Ems are perfect for relaxing. Guests can take in the natural beauty of the surrounding area on a bike tour along the banks of the Ems. The right bike can be hired at reception. The unique Wadden Sea, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the diverse city of Groningen, the largest metropolis in the north of the Netherlands, are particularly easy to reach. A trip to the centre of Leer with its tea museum and museum harbour, just 11 km away, is ideal for an excursion in bad weather. If it rains, you can also relax in the lounge with TV at the campsite.
