The cleanest and friendliest campsite
The cleanest campsite (sanitary and the pitch) I have ever stayed at. I would have loved to extend for 2 days, but unfortunately, it was already fully booked. Owner very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back.

In the sun-drenched south of Austria, Camping Weinland promises a relaxing and varied holiday until late autumn. Families and couples with caravans or motorhomes appreciate the quiet and well-kept site right by the clean natural bathing lake. Holidaymakers travelling with their dogs are also welcome guests. Last but not least, the warm atmosphere of the family-run site is a reason to stay here longer.
Camping Weinland is located in the centre of the picturesque South Styrian Wine Country Nature Park. The site on the edge of the holiday resort of Gleinstätten is open from April to November. Bushes, hedges and the occasional deciduous and coniferous tree surround a large meadow with 40 pitches for caravans, motorhomes, hire caravans and tents. The infrastructure leaves nothing to be desired: electricity connection, newly designed, heated and barrier-free sanitary facilities with showers, a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer as well as supply and disposal stations for motorhomes guarantee a relaxed stay. If you don't want to do without the internet on holiday, there is WLAN throughout the site. On hot summer days, a dip in the adjacent natural bathing lake with its always clear water is wonderfully refreshing. There is direct access from the campsite to the shore. Adults can relax on the large sunbathing lawn while the little campers have fun on the playgrounds, in the toddler pool and on the large water slide. In between, a game of table tennis or a game on the beach volleyball court is ideal. The lake pavilion, idyllically situated right by the water, delights young and old alike with over 40 pizza dishes. Shops of all kinds and cosy restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away. The special guest taxis are a special service.
There are attractive excursion destinations to discover in the area surrounding Camping Weinland. E-bikes and even e-cars are available for longer journeys. Lovers of sacred art can visit the Gleinstatt parish church with its magnificent baroque altar. Festive concerts and other events regularly take place in the Renaissance castle of Gleinstätten. The nature trail, which starts behind the castle, is exciting for the whole family. Close to the village of Wagna, around 20 kilometres east of Gleinstätten, the excavated Roman town of Flavia Solva from 70 A.D. beckons. Numerous foundation walls of stately houses bear witness to its former wealthy inhabitants. A beautiful hike leads to the 13 metre-high Kreuzkogel lookout tower high above the Sulmtal valley in nearby Kaindorf. From its platform, there is a fantastic view of the Bachergebirge mountains and the Lavanttal Alps.
