Cosy 3.5-star campsite for a relaxing holiday by the lake

In the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District, not far from the small town of Wesenberg and nestled in a landscape of water, meadows and forests, the campsite on Lake Drewensee is particularly popular with those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. With only around five hectares, it is a manageable holiday destination where holidaymakers quickly develop a friendly, family atmosphere. Most of the pitches are parcelled out and are between 100 and 180 square metres in size. Dogs are also very welcome at the campsite on Lake Drewen. Designated as a water hiking rest area, guests also have the option of mooring their own boat at the jetty, subject to availability. Even without a watercraft, holidaymakers are mobile on Lake Drewen thanks to boat hire directly on site. Two bathing areas and the two jetties also offer ideal access to the lake for anyone who wants to splash around and swim. The children's playground and beach volleyball court are in the immediate vicinity of the boat and bathing jetty. A few steps to the north is the main building complex with a snack bar, sanitary facilities and reception. The small shop with baked goods and everyday items is also located here. For larger purchases, we recommend travelling to Wesenberg, where the castle of the same name is also worth a visit.
