The family-run Bella Augusta campsite combines the advantages of a location that is both close to nature and easily accessible, as well as quick access to the centre of Augsburg. The dog-friendly campsite covers an area of 6 hectares. On the beautiful deciduous forest site, there are 70 holiday pitches, some of which are parcelled out, each with 80 to 100 m² of privacy. Electricity connections, modern sanitary facilities, WLAN in some areas and washing facilities are standard. In addition, a large playground and a volleyball court offer recreational fun for young and old. During the warmer months, the directly accessible swimming lake is one of the highlights of the campsite. You can spend some relaxing hours there, taking a dip in the cool water and sunbathing on the 350 metre long pebble beach. For tasty refreshments in between, you can visit the adjacent kiosk. But the area surrounding the campsite, which is open all year round, also has plenty to offer. With plenty of shopping opportunities, the city zoo, the puppet theatre and the imposing 12th century cathedral, a visit to the centre of Augsburg, which is only around 6 km away, offers something for every taste and every weather condition. The campsite is also located directly on the Romantic Road, the oldest and most popular holiday route in Germany. A hike or cycle tour along the picturesque banks of the Lech gives you an excellent impression of the natural beauty of this region.
