Campingplatz Dannenberg

The Dannenberg campsite is close to nature and is located in a green area surrounded by forest with a directly connected outdoor pool and a nearby nature-protected lake. The many regional excursion destinations and the well-kept facilities of the campsite also make for a relaxing holiday for two or with the family.

Relaxing campsite surrounded by idyllic nature

The spacious campsite covers around 2.4 hectares and offers 90 mostly parceled-out pitches, each measuring between 90-120 square metres. The pitches are mostly separated by trees and hedges so that guests can enjoy plenty of privacy. Comfortable sanitary facilities, a kitchen area, a laundry room, electricity connections and Wi-Fi throughout the site are part of the basic facilities. Dogs are welcome at the campsite, which is open all year round. Highlights for children naturally include the directly adjacent outdoor pool, which is freely accessible to camping guests, and a large playground. But the area surrounding the campsite also offers a wide range of leisure activities. In particular, the banks of the Elbe, just a few kilometres away, with its surrounding nature reserve, are ideal for long walks or bike rides. A walk around the neighbouring Lake Thielenburg, which was created artificially and has half-timbered houses worth seeing on its northern shore, is also popular. However, there are plenty of alternative bathing lakes around Dannenberg. For culture lovers, we recommend a visit to Salzwedel, around 33 kilometres away, with its old town hall and trading house. A selection of snacks, drinks and morning pastries are available at the campsite's snack bar. There are also various restaurants and supermarkets in the nearby centre of Dannenberg with its historic half-timbered houses.
