At Sea Green - Camping Les Grenettes you have arrived on an island of the blessed. Relaxed luxury, gourmet cuisine, heated pool, wild waves and clear sea - what more could you want?
The Sea Green - Camping Les Grenettes campsite has a gallant flair that exudes relaxed luxury. The spacious site is located in the middle of a 7-hectare pine forest in the south-west of the island of Île de Ré near La Rochelle and is easily accessible from the mainland via a bridge. Not only is the location by the sea in the Charente-Maritime department fantastic, but also the heated bathing area at the heart of this oasis. Beach life can also be enjoyed in the lagoon and while the little bathing beauties have fun on the slides, the grown-ups can dive into the cool water or surf and sail on the wild waves of the Atlantic.
The Île de Ré is one of the most popular holiday islands in France. It enjoys a mild climate all year round and summer sunshine from April to October. The surroundings of Sea Green - Camping Les Grenettes de Ré are a fascinating mix of wild natural landscape, home to unique flora and fauna, and lovingly tended centuries-old cultivated land. Rich vegetable cultivation and fertile vineyards in the interior are framed by extensive salt marshes and rugged coastlines. In between, rose-covered island cottages, where locals, artists and intellectuals like to raise a glass in peace and friendship, seem to have fallen out of time. One of the most highly acclaimed gourmet restaurants on the island awaits guests directly at Sea Green - Camping Les Grenettes: at L'Amphitrite, guests are spoilt with fresh sea asparagus, oysters and everything else that God in France would enjoy. The island's picturesque villages are of course also worth a visit. Ars-en-Ré and Saint-Martin-en-Ré are the most important marinas. La Flotte, the largest municipality on the island, is also one of the most beautiful villages in France. The Marais Poitevin marshland is a natural jewel of a special kind. The second largest wetland area in France after the Camargue surrounds the impressive Marais Poitevin Nature Park. In addition to free pitches, you can also rent cottages and lodges at Sea Green - Camping Les Grenettes.
