The Pilsensee campsite is located in a park-like area with wide meadows right next to the lake of the same name, which is particularly inviting for swimming in the warm summer months. Holidaymakers can enjoy peace and quiet here and find the ideal conditions to relax and unwind. The site is also child and dog-friendly, making it perfect for the whole family.
Just 40 kilometres west of Munich, the Pilsensee campsite is located directly on the lakeshore. The site in Upper Bavaria is therefore also an ideal starting point for excursions to nearby Lake Ammersee, Lake Starnberg or the Bavarian capital, which is rich in cultural sights. However, the nearest municipality is Seefeld, which is home to just under 7,500 inhabitants. The Pilsensee campsite covers a total area of 10 hectares and has 70 pitches, 9 rental accommodations and 400 pitches for permanent campers. The pitches are between 80 and 150 square metres in size and therefore offer sufficient space for couples and families alike. The site is equipped with numerous washing machines and tumble dryers so that you can wash your clothes in comfort, which is a great advantage for longer stays. There is also free and fast Wi-Fi throughout the site as well as an internet corner with computers. Children can spend active hours in the on-site playground, while older guests can choose between various sports. There is a golf course and boat hire nearby, but the windsurfing courses on offer, which are also suitable for beginners, are particularly popular. In general, there is a relaxed atmosphere at the resort, with both a midday and a night-time quiet time.
Long walks along the many lakes in the area are extremely popular, but tranquil Seefeld also offers a number of highlights. Architectural sights in the municipality include the castle and the churches of St Martin and St Peter and Paul. For active holidaymakers, day trips by car to the Alps are also an option. The mountains are perfect for hiking and climbing in summer, while in winter the slopes are ideal for skiing and snowboarding. The metropolis of Munich can be reached quickly by car or public transport. The cosmopolitan city with a heart offers its visitors a number of world-famous attractions such as Marienplatz, the English Garden, Nymphenburg Palace and the New Town Hall.
