The Seewang campsite near Rieden-Roßhaupten is located directly on the 15.2 km² Forggensee lake in Ostallgäu, around 10 km from the cultural metropolis of Füssen. Many of the 120 pitches have their own electricity, water and waste water connections. Only a short walk of 100 metres separates the pitches from the well-tended sunbathing lawn. In summer, the idyllic reservoir is ideal for swimming and boating. If you are not only looking for relaxation on holiday by the lake, but also want to do some sport, you can go on extensive hikes through the Allgäu Alps. Cyclists love the scenic circular tour around the Forggensee with the opportunity to visit Füssen and the dam wall. Around 20 km from the Seewang campsite, the Breitenberg cable car opens up a charming ski area at up to 1,600 metres above sea level.

It's not just active adults who get their money's worth on holiday at the Seewang campsite, active children are also in the right place here. The gently sloping beach by the lake is just as inviting to let off steam as the playground with climbing tower and trampoline. The clean sanitary facilities with hire bathrooms are just as popular. The Wirtshaus am Tiefental is a popular meeting place at any time of year, serving regional delicacies. From the panoramic conservatory, guests can enjoy a marvellous view of the water and the mountains.
