Note
There is a military training area to the north of Oldenburg. You therefore have to reckon with the occasional disturbance caused by firing exercises, which sometimes take place at night. As we learnt during the last visit to the campsite in this area, the shooting exercises will be stopped for eight weeks during the main summer season.
