Donau-Lech Camping

The comfortable Donau-Lech campsite is located in a natural recreational area between the rivers Danube and Lech. The many natural and cultural leisure options as well as a directly accessible bathing lake make for a varied holiday with an ideal combination of relaxation and activity.

The 5-hectare site has 70 pitches for holidaymakers, 50 of which are parcelled out. The pitches are 100 square metres in size, which, in combination with the wooded area, ensures a high level of tranquillity on the campsite. In addition to a washroom, sanitary facilities and electricity, guests also have free Wi-Fi at their disposal. When the weather is fine, you can spend relaxing hours on the natural shore of the associated bathing lake with adjoining sunbathing lawn. In the evening, the barbecue area with fire pit is an ideal meeting place for socialising. In addition to the relaxed atmosphere at the campsite, it is above all the varied surroundings between the Lech and Danube rivers that attract many holidaymakers. Extensive cycle tours along the river banks or the Romantic Road, one of the most famous holiday routes in Germany, are particularly popular. A detour to Donauwörth, just 8 kilometres away, is also worthwhile. The town, which has existed since the year 500, boasts a picturesque old town centre, various museums and exhibitions as well as good shopping opportunities. Augsburg is just 41 kilometres away and is also easy to reach. With the famous Fuggerei, the Puppenkiste and the zoo, there is something worth seeing for every age group.
