Located on the outskirts of the town of Saint-Raphaël, the extensive site extends over 19 hectares, on which the 180 parcelled pitches and permanently installed rental accommodation as well as the varied leisure facilities are spread. The water park is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the site and covers an area of 1,800 square metres. The water park includes a shallow children's pool with a playground. The playground also invites children to romp, slide and climb. The 9-hole mini golf course promises hours of fun. Relaxation is the motto in the wellness area at Esterel Caravaning. Here, adults can enjoy a massage while their children get to know their peers in the children's and teenagers' club. The pitches at the Esterel Caravaning campsite are divided into different categories, ranging from the 80 square metre standard pitches to 280 square metre pitches with fantastic mountain views and their own whirlpool. There are also well-kept sanitary buildings, a bar that is open from early until late, a restaurant with an inviting terrace, a boutique, a fitness room, a volleyball court and other sports fields right on site.

From the hilly landscape to the Mediterranean coast

It is only 8 km from the Esterel Caravaning campsite to the centre of Saint-Raphaël, so the town is also easy to reach by bike. The outward journey is downhill, and on the way back you have to master 90 metres in altitude and the ascending hills. Saint-Raphaël is characterised by its long urban beach, which stretches for around 1 km between the two harbours of Saint-Raphaël and the larger town of Fréjus. Both towns merge seamlessly into one another and offer a wide range of nightlife options. In addition to numerous restaurants and bars, the Casino Barrière right on the harbour of Saint-Raphaël, for example, invites you to enjoy an evening of luck and gambling. History buffs should not miss out on a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Saint-Raphaël, while families with children can look forward to a trip to "Aqualand" Fréjus.
