Flat grassy terrain with occasional young deciduous trees around a small bathing lake in a rural setting.
Access to water
In the adjacent beach area (free for campers) there is an approximately 80m long and up to 30m wide sandy beach with a separate non-swimmer area, a large water playground, and a bathing island. Additionally, there is an approximately 200 sqm large beach section on the campsite grounds.

Stay away from Friesland Camping – Mold, Feces, and Ve
I can't even give this camping site one star. It was absolute horror! The sanitary building was a moldy cave – the health department urgently needs to check it out. Camping Friesland is located between Jever and Schortens, just 15 kilometres from the North Sea beach. With 125 pitches and a large meadow for tents, the site has plenty of space. Thanks to the natural surroundings with young and old trees, camping holidays here are particularly close to nature. The most popular leisure activity is swimming in the large natural outdoor pool. There is also a beach volleyball court and a café next to it.
