Excursion tips around the campsite

After breakfast in their own mobile homes, mobile homes or villas, interested travellers can take a trip to the city of Ravenna. This is just 30 kilometres south of International Camping Mare e Pineta. The historic buildings in particular, such as the church of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, are among the city's landmarks and were placed under special protection by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in the 1990s. An excursion to the Parco Regional Veneto del Delta del Po offers a contrasting programme to the city. The regional park is located 40 kilometres north of the holiday village. The protected delta landscape is ideal for exploring by bike and canoe and is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. This ranges from pine forests to wetlands.
