Between Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven, holiday guests at KNAUS Campingpark Dorum can enjoy a carefree break by the North Sea. From many of the pitches you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the vast mudflats. The approximately 5.5 hectares of flat meadowland are divided by numerous drainage channels. Electricity and fresh water are included in the price for the spacious pitches. Holidaymakers can also use WLAN free of charge. Pet owners can bring their dogs for a small extra charge. Self-catering holidaymakers can buy ingredients for their meals in a shop directly on the campsite and prepare them in the well-equipped kitchen. There is a snack bar just a few steps from the entrance, but the nearest restaurant is also just a short walk away. The campsite also has a great playground for younger guests. Here, letting off steam and having fun are on the programme. A multi-purpose sports field invites active children and adults alike to enjoy a variety of ball games.
Beach lovers in particular will get their money's worth here. There is direct access to the beautiful sandy beach from the campsite. There is also a beautiful sunbathing lawn for sunbathing and relaxing. Families love spending their holidays on the North Sea beach when the weather is nice. Whether building sandcastles, letting off steam in the cool water or searching for shells - there is always something to experience here. Nature lovers can also discover the fascinating coastal landscape from the water, sailing or on an adventurous canoe tour. Water skiing is a particular favourite with younger guests, but mudflat walks are also a popular activity. Directly opposite the campsite is the Watt'n Bad outdoor wave pool, where camping guests have free access, so water rats in particular get their money's worth. There are also plenty of great excursion options in the area surrounding KNAUS Campingpark Dorum. Dorum is home to the Lower Saxony Dyke Museum, which sheds light on the fascinating history of dyke construction in all its facets. The Obereversand lighthouse is also a popular excursion destination. It is one of the highest Wadden lighthouses in the region and offers a marvellous view over the sea and the land.
