Visitors to Mötesplats Borstahusen are particularly impressed by the proximity to the sandy beach and the campsite also scores highly with its Segway hire service. Those seeking relaxation make extensive use of the spa facilities with beauty parlour, whirlpool and massage services. The campsite, which is in an exceptionally beautiful location, has good access to the motorway and is open all year round. The medium-sized Swedish towns of Landskrona and Helsingborg as well as the city of Malmö - and Copenhagen on the other side of the Öresund - are within easy reach.
The modern Mötesplats Borstahusen campsite is located in the fishing village of Borstahusen near the Swedish harbour town of Landskrona. The sandy beach, from which long jetties reach far into the Öresund strait, is within easy walking distance. Swim in the seawater or stroll along the shore and enjoy the sweeping views of the island of Ven and Copenhagen. The wide meadow area in the camping facility is lined with trees and shrubs and offers campers 130 pitches on gravel, with extra grassy areas especially for awnings. There are also more than 60 rental accommodations on the site. The innovatively designed reception building houses a spa department with a beauty parlour, sauna and indoor and outdoor whirlpools. For even more relaxation, holidaymakers can treat themselves to a soothing massage. Sports-loving campers can enjoy a game of boccia, improve their stroke technique at mini golf or hire a bike to explore the region. The surrounding area can also be explored on a Segway, which travellers can hire directly from the campsite. Golf enthusiasts can visit the Landskrona Golfklubb in Borstahusen with two 18-hole courses and fantastic views of the Öresund. Children will love the campsite's playground and recreation room.
The small fishing village of Borstahusen alone has many highlights up its sleeve with museums, art galleries, several restaurants and fish shops. From the Mötesplats Borstahusen camping site, the idyllic island of Ven in the Öresund is particularly recommended as a day trip. This destination can be reached by ferry from the nearby harbour town of Landskrona in 30 minutes. Once holidaymakers have arrived on Ven, they hire a bike to explore the surrounding area. Campers who prefer something a little more unusual can opt for a horse-drawn carriage tour or an alpaca trekking tour. The island boasts charming harbours, picturesque nature and the "Tycho Brahe" museum, which houses an underground observatory and a history of ideas play park, among other things. Cultural excursions, for example to the city of Helsingborg around 20 km away, are also on the agenda during a camping holiday in Borstahusen.
