ExcellentSurrounded by the vast marshlands of North Friesland, Nordseecamping Zum Seehund in Simonsberg boasts an outstanding location directly on the North Sea coast. Only the dyke, with its many kilometres of walking and cycling trails, separates the peaceful campsite from the green coastline typical of the region. A number of green hedges on the meadow area provide extra privacy on the pitches. As a refreshing speciality and alternative to a dip in the North Sea, the campsite has its own swimming pond. There is also a steam bath and a sauna. The small town of Husum with its varied shopping facilities is just 8 kilometres from the Nordseecamping Zum Seehund.
Very well-maintained facility, ideal for nature lovers and people in need of a break.
Massage services offered on-site. Guided mudflat hikes. Located by a cycling network. Self-check-in/check-out. Automated cassette emptying machine.

Well, the price-performance ratio is not that good
Unfortunately, the chalets are very worn and the condition is not so good anymore. Ours had many defects or was dirty. There was also no children's animation, which I find very regrettable during the summer holidays and was not known beforehand. The pool is great and a luxury for a campsite here in… More

Good in itself but not for us.
Well equipped with many play options for children. Unfortunately, for our taste, it is far too densely populated, too crowded, and too noisy at night. I don't want to cuddle with my neighbors on vacation. I could also go to Mallorca if I wished. The staff, however, is nice. You can only order rolls … More

Quiet place
A quiet place right by the dyke. Nicely located between Husum and Friedrichstadt. Unfortunately, there was only one toilet disposal machine where we stood in line.

Contrast bath
Nice swimming pond, nice playgrounds. Location superb. The rest is unfortunately just standard. No children's entertainment during the main holiday weeks. Only one toilet facility, which is regularly closed for cleaning at half-time, waiting lines can occur. Those who know the other sites in the FB … More
