Undulating, partly sloping meadowland densely overgrown with semi-tall and tall deciduous and coniferous trees at the edge zones. Pitch areas partly bounded by very low hedges. In the middle, a section with younger trees.

Campsite near the beach by the river
If you love the water, you have a choice at the campsite in Vilarelho in the Portuguese region of Caminha: the campsite is located just 200 metres from the beach and in the immediate vicinity of the Minho River. Both the sea and the river are ideal for swimming. Some of the pitches and rental accommodation are bordered by low hedges. The undulating site is densely wooded, especially at the edge of the campsite. Children will enjoy the fenced-in playground. There is also a recreation room with cosy seating. With a mini-market and a restaurant, holidaymakers are well catered for from a culinary point of view.
From the campsite to the beach and traditional villages
The Spanish mainland can be seen from Caminha beach. As it is sheltered, the swell is moderate. Children can therefore play happily in the surf. Water sports enthusiasts head to Praia de Moledo beach, which is located a little south of the campsite. The conditions here are perfect for kitesurfing and windsurfing. There is also a paved path from here along the coast to Moledo. It is ideal for walking and cycling. A trip to Vilar de Mouros is also a memorable experience. The original village is known for its mills.
