It's for passing through.
The place has potential. Sanitary facilities are dated, broken toilet seat, door won't close anymore, you have the doorknob in your hand. Docking facilities have rotting planks, some are no longer present.

Dog poop!
Free-running dogs, the beach and also the water are full of dog feces, the sanitary facilities are dirty, shower locked. Overflowing trash bins. Difficult to reach via small roads.
