A camping holiday on Italy's Adriatic coast promises plenty of sunshine, a good atmosphere and cultural cities worth visiting. The Piomboni Camping Village ensures that travellers enjoy a varied stay close to nature.
Nestled in a protected coastal forest, Piomboni Camping Village is just a few steps away from the kilometre-long sandy beach of Ravenna, which has been awarded the Blue Flag. Numerous leisure activities and beach bars await camping holidaymakers here. Sunbeds and parasols can also be hired. The fine sandy, light golden sea shore is wide and slopes gently. This makes it ideal for children to splash around and build sandcastles. The holiday complex has a pool area with a children's pool surrounded by shady trees. While the little ones have fun in the cool water and whizz down the water slide, the adults can make themselves comfortable on the sun terrace and relax in the whirlpool. Those who want to relax actively can work out in the fitness area. The Piomboni Camping Village does everything to ensure that families feel completely at ease. Among other things, there is a playground and children's entertainment in the mini club. Dogs are also very welcome and can let off steam on an obstacle course. Dog showers and a nearby dog beach make the stay comfortable for pet owners.
The 5-hectare holiday village is hidden in a natural pine forest with gently undulating sandy ground. The spacious pitches are spread out between tall trees in a predominantly shady location. In addition to a mini-market and a bar, the campsite's own restaurant caters for visitors' culinary needs. The atmosphere at the family-run Piomboni Camping Village is usually lively and is characterised by its cheerful Italian charm. A variety of entertainment programmes are organised. Those who want to have some sporting fun can try archery, take part in water gymnastics and take part in beach volleyball and football tournaments. There are also table tennis tables, bocce courts and badminton courts. Children's discos, live music and theme parties take place in the evenings. After a day outdoors, guests can switch off in the lounges by watching TV, playing table football or video games. A public bus stops right at the entrance to Piomboni Camping Village and takes you to Ravenna city centre in just a few minutes. Travellers can also hire bikes at the campsite to explore the surrounding area. A favourite destination for families is the Mirabilandia amusement park with its exciting rides.
