A campsite close to nature for families in peaceful surroundings

The 10-hectare Rømø Familie Camping campsite is located in the north-east of the island near the village of Toftum on the edge of a nature reserve. Hedges and trees divide the quiet site into almost 300 pitches, with plots varying in size from 80 to 90 square metres. Electricity, water and waste water connections are available on all pitches. In the sanitary facilities, there are nappy-changing rooms, special bathrooms and toilets for children, so that even the youngest guests can feel completely at ease. Two playgrounds, bouncy cushions, an indoor games room, a mini-golf course, a billiard room and a TV room provide entertainment on the campsite. A large meadow offers space to fly kites and children can explore the site on four wheels with the in-house Kettcar hire service. The sandy beach around 5 kilometres away promises even more adventure, inviting you to sunbathe, build castles and go for walks. If you want to discover other destinations on the island, you can take the 295 bus, which stops near the campsite. Among other things, it goes to the island's capital Havneby, from where ferries regularly depart for the neighbouring German island of Sylt. A mini-market offers food and freshly baked goods for refreshments, and in the high season, home-roasted bread is very popular. Restaurants and other shopping facilities can be found in the surrounding villages.
