See Camping Günztal welcomes holidaymakers to the wooded Oberrieder Weiher recreational area in a dreamlike natural setting. The Günztal cycle path runs past the 2.2 hectare site and there is a small marina right next to it. Most of the 220 paved pitches at the campsite, which opened in 2005, are equipped with electricity, fresh water and waste water connections. As there are barrier-free facilities in the modern sanitary building, the campsite is also suitable for people with limited mobility. There is a kiosk on site where self-catering holidaymakers can buy bread rolls and other groceries. Holidaymakers can also treat themselves to Bavarian and international delicacies in the bistro. In fine weather, the beer garden is a great place to relax. Families enjoy spending warm summer days on the approximately 300 metre long grassy shore of the pond or meeting up in the playground. It's also fun to take a trip on a pedalo or paddle boat, which guests can hire from the boat hire centre. The Schwabensurf surf school offers courses for beginners and professionals at the campsite. Other leisure facilities include table tennis tables, a bowling alley and a volleyball court. Cyclists can explore the beautiful countryside on two wheels, for example to the source of the River Günz near Obergünzburg. A popular excursion destination for families is Legoland Deutschland in Günzburg, around half an hour's drive away.
