With a bathing-friendly sandy beach and leisure activities for the whole family, First Camp Siljansbadet - Rättvik offers relaxing holidays on the eastern shore of Lake Siljan. The pine-covered campsite, with its Swedish cottage-red rental accommodation as well as caravan and motorhome pitches, is nestled in a gently rolling landscape of meadows and forests in Rättvik in the heart of the central Swedish province of Dalarna. The region is perfect for swimming, cycling, fishing and hiking. In addition to pedal boat hire, the campsite also has a mini-golf course, a playground and a colourful children's club programme. At the southern end of the campsite, Rättvik's famous 628 metre-long Långbryggan pier invites you to take a stroll. The local open-air museum Gammelgård about rural life is also worth a visit.

Long stretched, mainly flat terrain in light birch and pine forest, between Lake Siljan and the train station.
Access to water
Two sunbathing lawns, about 200 m and 250 m long, the smaller one with a wooden platform, the larger one with large stones fixed. In between, a sandy beach about 150 m long and up to 30 m wide.

Beautiful surroundings and a lousy site
The surroundings are beautiful. Located directly by the lake and accessible on foot to the city. The site itself, however, is not nice. The pitches are mostly narrow for Sweden and the 4 m distance is actually not feasible. Moreover, we have not seen such a dirty site throughout Sweden. The sanit… More
