The nearby Hindsgavl Dyrehave Nature Park offers hiking trails, fire pits, a nature playground and picnic facilities.
It's not far from First Camp Skovlund - Lillebælt in Asperup Sogn to the cosy beach, but children love the campsite's large swimming pool with water slide and children's pool. Adults will appreciate the sauna and solarium at the Aqua Park. Other facilities at the 4-star campsite include a grocery shop, Café Skovlund and a kitchen with lounge. Services such as emptying the cassette toilets, supply and disposal and CEE sockets (6-16A) are available for caravans and motorhomes. There are a total of 265 pitches on the site, which are located on a terraced slope. Most of the pitches offer a marvellous view of the Kattegat. Hedges provide privacy and organisation. In addition to the outdoor pool, sports activities such as tennis, table tennis and minigolf are on offer. Guests can get to know each other quickly while playing football or volleyball together. Children can look forward to a total of three attractive playgrounds. Bicycles for exploring the surrounding area can be hired directly on site. Another advantage is the quick accessibility from the motorway and the possibility of excursions in the surrounding area.
The small town of Middelfart is a charming spot in the north of Funen. The pedestrianised area of the picturesque old town and the modern marina are perfect for a stroll. Excursions from the campsite also take you to the Kongebroskoven natural forest or to Lillebælt Waters with its sandy beaches, fishing and diving opportunities. Children love the nearby Skovlunds Dyr petting zoo with farm animals and harbour porpoise watching on the Little Belt. You can also be on the motorway in just a few minutes and reach the Legoland theme park in Central Jutland, the Hans Christian Andersen House in Odense or the idyllic Egeskov moated castle in around 30 minutes.
