Flat meadow terrain with deciduous trees and isolated tall pines, by a bathing lake. High-voltage power lines at the edge of the site. Panoramic view. Possible disturbances by the 500 m-distant airfield and the nearby highway.

Beautifully located campsite
Well-maintained campsite, very nicely located. Shady and very sunny spots. Sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned 2 times a day (high season). Poorly managed campsite. Surroundings and lake are great!
We have been going to Camping les Illes for over 16 years. The staff has never been so incompetent and unfriendly. They have no idea which pitches are reserved and which are not. TCS Camping Sion is located in the south-west of Switzerland in the sunny holiday region of Valais. Rugged peaks tower all around, providing a dreamlike backdrop for the pitches. The Rhone borders the campsite on one side. A natural swimming lake invites you to splash around and play. There is also a fenced-in pool. Families like to book a pitch or a glamping tent. There is also a playground and an amusement arcade. For cyclists, TCS Camping Sion offers excellent service: a bike workshop and a bike washing area are available directly on the campsite. The restaurant Le Pic Vert, which has a large sun terrace, invites you to recharge your batteries.

Surfing against the magnificent mountain backdrop of the Swiss Alps is possible at TCS Camping Sion. The Alaia Bay surf centre is just a few minutes' walk from the campsite. Culture vultures can visit the castles of the town of Sion: as they are partly located on the hills of Valère and Tourbillon, a visit can easily be combined with a hike.
