The Römmert winery is both a place to savour wine and a hostel. It is surrounded by vineyards in the Franconian town of Volkach in the north of Bavaria.
Romantics and adventurers can spend the night in rustic wine barrels on the modern estate. There are also pitches for motorhomes directly at the winery, all with their own water and electricity connections. Everyone can find their favourite wine in the estate's large wine cellar. Various wine experiences, whether cellar master tours, musical wine tastings or guided tours through Römmert's wine tasting centre, provide unforgettable impressions. This also applies to walks on the wine adventure trail in the surrounding mountains. The Mainschleife near Volkach also invites you to hike, cycle and kayak through a picturesque river landscape.

Located directly on the Mainschleife in Volkach, Weingut Römmert offers the perfect holiday for anyone interested in wine. Here, holiday guests can learn all about wine and the surrounding area invites them to take part in various activities on and around the Main.
Here, guests can experience wine from the vine to the tasting and learn a lot about its production at the same time. Holidaymakers can either stay overnight in their own mobile home on one of the pitches or, true to the motto, rent one of the fully furnished wine barrel suites for two people. Wine-themed events are organised almost daily: Wine lovers can learn about the different site classifications at the vertical tasting or visit the wine cellar on the cellar master tour and taste the wine before it is bottled. Highlights include the guided tour through the "WeinSensorikum", where guests learn to perceive wine with all their senses, and the weekly murder mystery wine tasting, where an exciting murder case is solved over a glass of good wine.
Real wine connoisseurs and wine lovers are drawn to Volkach on the Mainschleife. Here, the particularly fertile soil of over 200 million years old shell limestone combined with steep slopes provides the perfect soil for top-class wine. But there is also plenty for holidaymakers to do on the Mainschleife beyond the topic of wine: How about a canoe trip on the Main? If you prefer things a little quieter, you can hire a raft instead of a canoe and sail gently along the Main. On land, the imposing vineyards are the perfect backdrop for hikes and cycle tours.
