In addition to activity, the region also offers peace and relaxation, while those interested in culture will also find that the picturesque surroundings of Tarascon are just right for them. The municipality itself boasts a castle on the banks of the Rhone and the Sainte-Marthe church, among other things. In this case, holidaymakers drive west on the A96, which becomes the A14 in Austria. Travellers will soon arrive in Switzerland and take the A1 via Zurich and Geneva. Campers travelling from the north of Germany, such as Berlin, will reach Tarascon in around 1,500 km. The quickest route is via Karlsruhe and then Valence. Holidaymakers should follow the A9, A6 and A5. From France, they follow the A36 and finally the A7 and A9 via Avignon. A break or two is recommended on both routes. Coming from Munich, the Thal Regional Nature Park is a good place for a walk halfway along the route. On the second route, the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park is very close to the motorway.
