In July, the average temperature peaks at 17 degrees Celsius, while January is the coldest with an average of 4 degrees Celsius. In winter, it snows on average five days a month. The best time to go camping in Rogaland is from May to August. During this time, temperatures are pleasantly mild and there is little to moderate rainfall. So if you are travelling between May and August, you will find the ideal conditions to enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Rogaland while hiking, climbing or fishing.
