Camping in L'Escala

Camping in L'Escala attracts sun worshippers, hiking enthusiasts and water sports fans alike. In the summer months, beach holidaymakers enjoy temperatures of around 30 degrees Celsius, with a sea breeze always providing refreshment. In spring, the Tramuntana, the land wind coming from the north-western Pyrenees, attracts kite and windsurfers, while holidaymakers who want to climb the Montgrí and Montgó mountains or take a mountain bike tour along the coast prefer the months between April and June and from September to November due to the pleasant climate. The cool water temperature of 15 degrees Celsius in spring rises to 24 degrees Celsius in summer and drops to around 18 degrees Celsius in November.
