The campsites in the Catalan town on the Costa Daurada are a destination for active holidaymakers and families. Getting there

Although the journey from Germany to the Spanish Costa Daurada to Torredembarra stretches over many hundreds of kilometres, campers pass through numerous beautiful regions and cities that are ideal for one or two overnight stays. Holidaymakers travelling the approximately 1,880 km from Hamburg will pass Cologne, Nancy, Lyon, Montpellier and Barcelona, depending on the route. These places are absolutely worth seeing.

For a stopover with an overnight stay, however, it is highly recommended to book well in advance during the holiday season. This applies not only to the Hamburg route, but also to other campers travelling around 1,950 km from Berlin or around 1,440 km from Munich. Depending on the departure point, guests travel via Freiburg im Breisgau and Lyon to Montpellier or via Lindau, Bern and Geneva. From Montpellier, most holidaymakers choose the A7 along the coast.

When planning your holiday budget, it is important to know that most motorways in France, Switzerland and Spain are subject to tolls. Motorhomes with twin tyres, for example, are subject to higher charges in Spain.
