With its kilometre-long, golden beach, Bibione is a paradise for camping by the sea. The seaside resort is located not far from Venice on the north-east coast of Italy in the Veneto region. The green landscape around the lagoon also delights nature lovers with its wild and romantic scenery. Bibione is very popular with German and Austrian visitors, not least because of the short journey time. Another reason is undoubtedly the fine sandy beach, which stretches along the coast for eight kilometres.

Best time to visit
A warm and temperate climate makes camping in Bibione a wonderful experience from April to October inclusive. With an average of 28 degrees Celsius and a water temperature of up to 25 degrees Celsius, summer is a great time for swimming in the Mediterranean. The sun shines from the sky almost all day long and promises good-humoured activities such as outdoor water sports.
If passionate campers prefer to travel off-season with their motorhome, this is also possible in April and May as well as in September and October with pleasant weather. This is when cycle tours or cultural city excursions to Venice, for example, are ideal. Thanks to its location on the Mediterranean, winters are still quite mild and temperatures rarely drop below freezing.
