Etno kuća pod Okićem conveys traditional village life in the northern Croatian county of Zagreb. The rustic mountain farm in the village of Klake is located in the middle of a wooded hilly landscape and conveys the authentic atmosphere of a rural family household with its pretty old wooden houses, exhibition rooms and workshops. There is a small campsite for caravans and motorhomes on the farm grounds. The ruins of the medieval Okić Castle sit enthroned on a pointed hill within sight. There are also a variety of cycling and hiking trails around the Etno kuća pod Okićem, which is open all year round. Tours through the Žumberak-Samoborsko Gorje Nature Park are particularly scenic. The charming town of Samobor and the cultural metropolis of Zagreb, 26 kilometres from the campsite, are recommended for a city stroll.
