A particular highlight is the dog-friendly nature of the campsite - four-legged friends are also welcome and can explore the natural surroundings and the wide range of activities on offer at the campsite together with their favourite people. The picturesque village of Carennac nearby invites you to discover and relax.

In the heart of Occitania, not far from the picturesque village of Carennac, lies the spacious L' Eau Vive campsite. The beautiful location directly on the banks of the leisurely River Dordogne allows the whole family, including four-legged friends, to enjoy a wonderful holiday experience. While some enjoy a swim in the river or a boat trip, others can relax by the beautiful pool. The living water, after which the campsite is named, is always the centre of attention. Free canoeing lessons are even offered so that you can soon move safely and freely in the river. The boats can be hired and do not need to be brought along. Children's entertainment in the kids' club and weekly music events are also on the programme.
Dog owners couldn't imagine a better holiday. Your faithful companion sleeps at eye level when the tents are pitched directly on the riverbank. Those who prefer more comfort can rent one of the cosy cottages or arrive with their own caravan or motorhome and enjoy the well-maintained sanitary facilities. There are wonderful hiking trails to explore the surrounding area. The historic village of Carennac with its almost 400 inhabitants is enchanting with its medieval flair and loving care. It was officially voted one of the most beautiful villages in France.
