Gastronomic offers
In an exclusive location between the mighty Alberès massif and the kilometre-long sandy beach, Camping Les Albères invites you to enjoy a carefree holiday in beautiful natural surroundings. The water park with large outdoor and indoor pools offers numerous play options for children. There is also a riding stable on the well-kept grounds, which offers unforgettable rides on good-natured animals. A varied entertainment programme for children and adults rounds off the offer.
Camping Les Albères in the French department of Pyrénées Oriental is ideal for a varied holiday on the coast. The family-run campsite with a total area of 7 hectares offers 124 pitches. If you don't want to bring your own motorhome or tent, you can book one of the comfortable mobile homes. Free Wi-Fi is just as much a part of the campsite's amenities as bike hire and a well-stocked supermarket. Guests can sample regional cuisine in the cosy restaurant with sun terrace. Themed evenings such as mussel or paella day guarantee a good atmosphere. Holidaymakers can also make new friends on the multifunctional sports field or playing boules. With around 320 days of sunshine a year, the campsite is located in one of the sunniest regions in France. Guests make the most of this for trips to the beach, which is around 15 minutes away. However, there is also a large aquapark right on site for swimming. When the weather is nice, guests can enjoy the pool, which is lined with palm trees and other Mediterranean plants. The youngest guests can have fun on the water slides. There is also an indoor pool with a counter-current system and integrated whirlpool. When the youngest guests are not in the water or at the playground, they can take part in the varied entertainment programme at the Happyclub in summer.
There is plenty to discover around the campsite. Hikers are attracted by a well-developed network of paths, such as the 6 km long Cascot Trail, which starts in nearby Sorède. Numerous stone houses typical of the region can be seen along the way. A tour of the coastal town of Argèles-sur-Mer is also worthwhile. The Casa de Albères museum is a tip for all those who want to find out more about the history of the holiday resort. The town is also famous for the unfinished bell tower of the Notre-Dame-dels-Prats church, which towers 34 metres above many buildings. A walk along the Costal Trail, which was opened in 2005, is also interesting. 12 information boards in various languages, including German, provide information about the natural and cultural heritage of the coast.
