High in the French Vosges Mountains, Les Granges Bas campsite is located on the edge of a spruce forest and offers idyllic tranquillity in the midst of the nature of the low mountain range for a camping holiday away from the stress of everyday life.
Time in nature, far away from the hustle and bustle, appointments and commitments - that's what holidaymakers come to the Vosges to camp for. Thanks to its ideal location, the campsite is not only a fantastic holiday destination in summer: in addition to the pitches, which are separated by hedges, holiday guests can also book heated mobile homes, which are particularly suitable for winter. The bakery on site not only provides campers with fresh bread, but also with all kinds of traditional pastries. So every day starts with a French breakfast. The campsite's own pool invites you to cool off in summer. There is also a small shop and bar on the campsite, which offers local wines, beer as well as regional cold meats and cheeses.
The Vosges offer a wide range of activities: there are numerous hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty where campers can explore the beautiful nature and observe wild animals. Guided hikes are also available. Lake Gérardmer is just a short hike away. This is perfect for various water sports. If you like fishing, you can do so in a private lake not far from the campsite. The Vosges are ideal for all campers who want to spend a winter holiday in France: The mountains are ideal for children to go sledging and there are not one but two ski resorts nearby!
