The Onlycamp l'Orée des Vosges campsite is located in the north-east of France, nestled in the idyllic hilly landscape of the Vosges mountains in the quiet village of Le Val-d'Ajol. Here campers can enjoy relaxation in the midst of nature and recharge their batteries.
Near the Vosges mountains, holidaymakers can enjoy a peaceful camping holiday in the countryside. The campsite offers pitches either in the sun or in the shade. Alternatively, chalets of two sizes are available, the larger of which are also designed for guests with reduced mobility. Children can play in the playground and the table tennis tables invite them to challenge themselves. Guests can stock up on local produce in the site's own small supermarket, which also sells hot and cold drinks and ice cream in high season.
The centre of Le Val-d'Ajol is just a short walk from the campsite. The historic village has set itself the task of preserving its traditional specialities. The andouille festival, a type of French sausage, is held every year in February. In addition to the authentic, traditional cuisine that can be enjoyed in the numerous restaurants, holidaymakers can also admire the traditional architecture and numerous monuments in the village. Numerous hiking trails lead through the beautiful and varied countryside, with the Faymont and Géhard waterfalls being two of the most popular destinations in the area. Those looking for a wellness holiday will find three spa centres within a radius of around half an hour.
