At an altitude of 1,727 metres, Camping Sierra de Albarracín Corralizas near the small village of Bronchales is the highest campsite in Spain. It is located in the north-east of the country in the impressive mountain landscape of the Sierra de Albarracín in Aragon. Nestled in a centuries-old pine forest, the environmentally friendly campsite with its restaurant, wooden bungalows and pitches for motorhomes offers complete tranquillity and an intense experience of nature. The surrounding wilderness of the Montes Universales mountains is perfect for hiking and mountain biking. There is a playground and adventurous geocaching tours for children. The medieval town of Albarracín, 30 kilometres away, with its castle and cathedral nestled into the rugged, rocky slopes above the River Guadalaviar, is a picture-perfect excursion destination.
