Below the steep bank, the sandy beach is around 300 metres long and up to 20 metres wide, with access via steps. Shore fortified with large rocks, natural stone groynes protrude into the water.

Terraced terrain with numerous deciduous and coniferous trees, on both sides of the coastal road (pedestrian subway). In the upper part of the site, an area for tents only in the dense pine forest. At the edge of the site is a rock with the historic watchtower 'Torre de la Peña'. On a clear day you can see as far as Africa.
Separate car parking is compulsory on the tent pitches.

The attractive Torre de la Peña I campsite is located 7 km from the centre of Tarifa on the Costa de la Luz and boasts magnificent views over the sea. The terraced site with deciduous and coniferous trees has a total area of 3 hectares and comprises 120 pitches for holidaymakers, some of which are right on the beach. At the edge of the site is a rock on which the historic Torre de la Peña watchtower stands. The services on offer include emptying cassette toilets and supply and disposal for motorhomes. The site in Andalusia has 110 CEE sockets, dishwashing sinks, washing machines and tumble dryers. A kiosk, a snack bar and a restaurant cater for campers. There is a nappy-changing room for the youngest guests. Holidaymakers can reach the approximately 300 metre long and 20 metre wide fine sandy beach below the steep shore via a flight of steps. Water sports enthusiasts will find a surf school and a boat slip on the attractive beach. The nearby town of Tarifa is a world-famous destination for windsurfers. Nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts can take a trip to the Los Alcornocales nature park. Thanks to the ferry connection between Tarifa and Tangier, campers can spend a day in the Moroccan harbour city.
