Campingpark Hochsauerland is a terraced site surrounded by lush greenery and sheltered from the wind, around 1 km from the centre of the North Rhine-Westphalian winter sports and recreation resort of Winterberg. The famous Rothaarsteig long-distance hiking trail runs along the approximately 7-hectare campsite site, while the Winterberg Bike Park is around 1.5 km away. Children and their parents can look forward to a playground to let off steam, a football pitch and table tennis tables at Campingpark Hochsauerland. Films can also be borrowed free of charge. In winter, skiing and tobogganing fun starts almost right outside the caravan door. The campsite's own 4-seater chairlift offers camping holidaymakers access to the Winterberg ski lift carousel with around 27 kilometres of pistes. A ski school and ski hire with modern equipment for young and old are of course available. Cross-country skiers can enjoy around 120 kilometres of groomed trails in the surrounding area. In addition to a spacious tent meadow, the Hochsauerland camping park also has 220 parcelled out pitches for caravans, all with WLAN, electricity and waste water connections, as well as a terrace for motorhomes only. The state-of-the-art sanitary building has spacious shower cubicles, child-friendly washing facilities and five rental bathrooms suitable for families. There is also a large scullery and a laundry room with tumble dryers and ironing facilities. A bread roll service and two restaurants with a wide selection of dishes, also available to take away, cater for your physical well-being.
