The Camping am See campsite is just a ten-minute walk from the town centre with its numerous shops. There are 118 pitches with electricity for caravans and motorhomes on the 3-hectare site. There is also space for 80 tents on a separate meadow. Sports enthusiasts like to reserve the 6 m² cyclists' rooms with a parking space for their own bike. Charming wooden cabins round off the extensive range of accommodation. Some of the cosy accommodation is located directly on the shores of Lake Constance. The 260 km long Lake Constance cycle path also runs past the Camping am See campsite. A tour of around 11 km takes sporty holidaymakers to the beautiful city of Constance with its famous cathedral. The island of Reichenau, located directly opposite Allensbach, is also a great excursion destination. Those interested in culture should take a stroll through the town: the charming local history museum provides information about the history and traditions. One of the highlights is the collection of artefacts from the Neolithic Age to the 20th century. Constance impresses with numerous sights such as the Imperia statue at the harbour entrance or the famous "Cathedral of Our Lady". The cultural city on the Swiss border is also home to the oldest spoken theatre in the whole of Germany.
