Gastronomic offers
Located in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, the Bostalsee campsite is one of the most beautiful places for a family holiday in the fresh air in Saarland. The campsite boasts a wide range of leisure activities and a perfect location right on the shores of Lake Bostalsee. Water rats and nature lovers in particular will get their money's worth at this campsite.
The Bostalsee campsite is located on the recreational lake of the same name near Nohfelden in the Sankt Wendel region, which is part of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and one of the most beautiful regions in the Saarland. The site, which covers several hectares, offers spacious pitches and comfort pitches for caravans. All pitches are equipped with fresh water and waste water supplies and have an electricity connection. Numerous water taps are also available. In front of the barrier there are some motorhome pitches with a supply and disposal station. Guests with tents will find a new home on the family tent pitches and group tent pitches. The generously sized family tent pitches are parcelled out and can be reserved in advance on request. Rental caravans and tents can also be hired on the site. The fairytale houses in the new themed village are also very popular. These rental accommodations, lovingly decorated with fairytale motifs, are specially designed for families and are fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and private sanitary facilities. There is even play equipment for children, and guests can stock up on fresh baked goods and other groceries in the self-service shop, which is open daily. Local products such as milk, yoghurt and sausage are available around the clock from the Regiomat. The self-service vending machine is regularly stocked with fresh, organic produce from neighbouring farms and is always open. Alternatively, camping holidaymakers can treat themselves in the "Restaurant Dionysos - the Greek on the lake" while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. The campsite's modern sanitary buildings have also had their own sauna area since the recent renovation.
Thanks to the wide range of leisure activities on offer, the Bostalsee campsite is the perfect choice for a camping holiday with the whole family. Younger guests can let off steam on the climbing frames, swings and slides in the playgrounds. There is also a recreation room with games and a mini golf course. During the holidays and at long weekends, friendly entertainers keep the kids in a good mood. Children quickly make new friends during a big treasure hunt, on theatre day or at the games festival.
If you want to get active, you can play football, volleyball, handball and basketball on the football pitch or on the multi-purpose pitch. Just a short walk away, Lake Bostal offers swimming opportunities at the St. Wedel outdoor pool. The Bosel lido is also just a 5-minute walk from the campsite and offers everything water lovers and water sports enthusiasts could wish for: swimming, sailing, surfing, diving, canoeing and a huge wave slide. There are also a number of surfing and sailing schools for beginners around the lake. The Bostalsee campsite also has something for those seeking peace and quiet: Guests can take a well-earned break in the Finnish sauna or the bio sauna.
With its location in the centre of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, the Bostalsee campsite is the perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Walkers can circle the lake on a beautiful circular route. Active holidaymakers can lace up their hiking boots and set off on the well-signposted network of hiking trails. There are also Nordic walking routes of all levels of difficulty around the lake as well as numerous beautiful cycle paths. If you don't have your own bike with you, you can hire one from the local bike hire centre. If the weather doesn't play ball, children can let off steam in the indoor play paradise "Bosiland" or spend a fun-filled day in the Bostalsee Centre Park.
