Pula, the capital of Istria, 37 kilometres from the campsite, offers great shopping opportunities. The ancient amphitheatre tells of a time when the Romans colonised the region. Nature lovers can take the ferry from Fazana to the Brijuni Nature Park, which is spread over several islands. The animal park on Veli Brijun is home to zebras, elephants and other exotic animals.
