Camping with a private beach and extensive activities

Located around 15 km north of the coastal town of Kalmar, this family-run holiday resort invites camping holidaymakers to indulge their passion on the Swedish Baltic Sea. From the elongated headland on which Kalmar Camping Rafshagsudden is located, visitors can look out over countless offshore islets and even as far as the large island of Öland. Here, sights such as the ruins of Borgholm Castle and the summer residence of the royal family entice family excursions. Guests can choose whether to park their motorhome on the sunny seashore or shady and sheltered from the wind in the tall coniferous forest. Most of the 170 pitches have electricity and measure between 80 and 110 square metres. Kalmar Camping Rafshagsudden has two sanitary blocks with toilets, the larger of which is equipped with communal showers and waste disposal stations. The service building includes a kitchen, a laundry room, a dog shower and a TV room. Free Wi-Fi is available to campers in the reception area and in the buildings. At the top of the site there is a sandy beach with bathing jetties, playgrounds and bouncy cushions for children as well as sports fields for football and volleyball. Canoes, stand-up paddleboards and fishing equipment can be hired from the jetties. Live music is played on the occasional family days and colourful children's programmes take place regularly.
