In the unspoilt fjord landscape of Nordland on the west coast of Norway, Velfjord Camping & Hytter is a dream destination for nature lovers. The compact holiday complex offers a small number of spacious pitches with water and mountain views. Situated between deep blue fjords and lakes, Velfjord Camping & Hytter is the ideal starting point for canoe trips and fishing excursions. Guests can catch trout, salmon and herring in the crystal-clear waters. These are prepared in a cosy atmosphere in the barbecue hut. Velfjord Camping & Hytter has a farm that provides travellers with fresh fruit and vegetables. Norwegian specialities such as elk meat can even be sampled on site. The campsite also organises guided mountain or snowshoe hikes through the Lomsdal-Visten National Park.
