The rural surroundings with the neighbouring nature reserve Südlicher Bliesgau/Auf der Lohe as well as wide meadows, fields and small forests are ideal for walks and bike rides with the whole family. Four-legged friends are very welcome at the campsite for excursions together. A trip to Saarbrücken, just 30 kilometres away, is also worthwhile for a stroll or a day at the museum.
