Relax in thermal springs, sit in the whirlpool and treat yourself to a pleasant massage to relieve pain for a change. For heat lovers, it's off to the sauna and then into the ecological bathing pond. Electrotherapy or kinesiotherapy is available for specific complaints. At the end of the day, you can unwind in the relaxation zone by the open fire or take a walk in the idyllic natural surroundings.
Germany, in particular, offers a wide range of first-class spa camping holidays. Beach lovers are drawn to the seaside resorts on the North Sea or Baltic Sea. The fresh sea air radiates soothing cosiness from the moment you arrive. In addition to wellness and spa treatments, campers can take revitalising walks along the coast and listen to the sound of the waves. But there are also many regions in the interior of Germany that offer ideal conditions for spa camping. In North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, there are many healing springs that have a positive effect on health. The Lower Bavarian spa triangle is known for its exceptional spa programmes. A huge number of thermal, mineral and saltwater spas can be found in Baden-Württemberg in particular.
Of course, there are also plenty of great spa campsites outside Germany. Especially in winter, mild temperatures attract many holidaymakers to the south - for example to Italy and Croatia. The pleasant climate there means you can stroll along the beach and breathe in the fresh sea air all year round.
The Kur-Gutshof-Camping Arterhof is located in the aforementioned Lower Bavarian spa triangle with an outdoor thermal pool and swimming pond as well as a tropical indoor pool. In addition to medicinal baths, there are sauna facilities, physiotherapy, physiotherapy and massage services. If that's not enough, a free shuttle bus takes you to another spa centre nearby.
The Eienwäldli campsite is located in Switzerland and is surrounded by beautiful nature with a fascinating mountain range. There is a rock adventure pool with grottos and a waterfall for children. Adults can spend time in the sauna with panoramic views, the steam bath or the bubble bath. Soothing massages round off the wellness programme.
In Croatia, on the northern Rovinj coast, there are great cures at the Valalta naturist campsite. Pebble and sandy beaches with sea and lagoon offer a wide choice for campers. This variety of options continues in the on-site vitality centre: underwater massages, electrotherapy and kinesiotherapy are just a few of the campsite's highlights, along with the Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath and several whirlpools. Nudists can ideally combine camping and spa holidays here.
The sea and the coast also await holidaymakers in the north of Germany when camping on the North Sea beach. The fresh air and the sound of the waves alone lead to relaxation and well-being. You can enjoy the positive effects of nature in the heated outdoor seawater pool on site. A spa centre with numerous therapies and medical treatments is located just 500 m from the resort.
Kurcamping boasts a whole host of extraordinary extras. However, there are other treatments that further enhance the sense of well-being.
Body and mind are permanently and inextricably linked. The campsite's wellness and spa treatments are highly effective and beneficial, especially for the body. Meditation can create wonderful added value as a supplement for a clear head and mind. The stress of everyday life is reduced as much as possible or even disappears completely through the combination of the two methods.
Inner peace and balance are increased through yoga, among other things. Hatha yoga is characterised by gentle movements that are ideal for spa camping. The body is ideally harmonised with the mind and soul.
Pleasant therapies and wellness options are best combined with beneficial exercise in nature. There could hardly be a better combination than camping and a spa holiday: The morning begins with an invigorating run on the wide beach or in the fresh forest, followed by various health-promoting activities. In the evening, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature on a walk.
