As the "gateway to the Spreewald", Lübbenau is one of the most attractive holiday destinations in the state of Brandenburg. The tranquil metropolis with its historic town centre and famous gateway is an excellent choice for campers. Several campsites in the immediate vicinity of Lübbenau are the starting point for excursions into the Spreewald and a retreat for those seeking relaxation. On PiNCAMP, the ADAC camping portal, interested campers can reserve a pitch or rental accommodation at the respective campsites.
With the Spreewald biosphere reserve on its doorstep, the campsite in Lübbenau has a special feature that other campsites can hardly compete with. The impressive water world can be actively explored from the water thanks to on-site boat hire. The small hire fee for the canoe or boat is definitely worth it. Past charming villages, guests can immerse themselves in the almost unspoilt natural landscape of the Spreewald. The campsites in and around Lübbenau know how to impress with their wonderful location. The Spreewald-Natur-Camping Am Schlosspark and the Spreewald-Natur-Camping Am See are located right next to bodies of water that are ideal for boat trips and cooling off in the water. Comfortable motorhome pitches, bookable rental accommodation and modern sanitary cabins ensure a feel-good atmosphere when camping in the region. Campers with dogs should find out in advance on which pitches their four-legged friends are allowed to holiday. Unfortunately, due to the location in the Spreewald biosphere reserve, this cannot always be reconciled.
Situated on a small peninsula surrounded by two arms of water, the Spreewald-Natur-Camping Am Schlosspark is ideal for exploring the region. Equipped with numerous motorhome pitches and accommodation, the campsite scores points with its modern sanitary cabins, its bike and boat hire and its proximity to the castle grounds. In this way, nature and culture lovers can spend wonderful days surrounded by nature. Spreewald-Natur-Camping Am Schlosspark receives excellent ratings from its guests on PiNCAMP.
Directly on the shore of a lake and surrounded by forest, the camping pitches are separated by small hedges. In the shade of the trees, guests can enjoy the particularly natural ambience or take a dip in the cool water. A bathing bay with swimming jetties is just as much an advantage as the holiday cabins and houses on the site. Equipped with furniture, a kitchenette and a bedroom, the rental accommodation is a welcome alternative to the usual motorhome pitches. As an ADAC tip, Spreewald-Natur-Camping Am See is held in particularly high regard for the region.
Located directly in the harbour district of Lübbenau's old town, the Spreewald Caravan and Motorhome Park Dammstrasse is an excellent address. Spacious pitches for motorhomes and caravans, where dogs are also welcome, well-kept sanitary cabins, an all-day reception, a mini shop and a boat hire centre nearby all speak in favour of a stay at the Dammstrasse caravan and motorhome park.
Campers should not miss out on the culinary delights of the Spreewald. The castle park is a wonderful retreat, where a delicious ice cream in the shade of the trees is a real treat in summer. Important: A visitor's tax of two euros per night and per person must be paid for a stay in Lübbenau, Burg or Lübben. The visitor's tax is primarily used for the cultural and natural preservation of this unique region.
