The campsites in Sesto are an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain bike tours or for the perfect day's skiing. The gondola lifts and ski lifts in the Croda Rossa/Rotwand ski area are just 10 minutes away. There is a ski bus stop in the immediate vicinity of the campsites. In Sesto, cross-country skiers can also access the extensive network of trails.
In summer, the well-maintained hiking trails lead directly from the campsite into the Three Peaks Nature Park. Dog owners are drawn to extensive forays into South Tyrol's breathtaking landscape with their four-legged friends. The campsites are located around 6 km from the picturesque centre of Sesto.
With around 300 days of sunshine a year, South Tyrol is one of the friendliest regions in Europe. Due to the altitude of around 1,600 metres, the temperatures in Sesto are pleasant even in midsummer. In July and August, the maximum temperature is 29 °C, making a visit to the outdoor pool in Sesto ideal for families and water lovers.
From December to February, the temperature drops below zero. Sometimes the first snow falls as early as October and the pistes are perfectly groomed in time for the start of the ski season at the end of November. The snow depth on the mountain reaches up to 180 centimetres. In the valley, around 30 centimetres of snow transform the resort into a winter wonderland.
